GP appointments release on the day at 8am for that morning, the following morning and further ahead; and 12pm for that afternoon, the following afternoon and further ahead.
Appointments can also be booked online using SystmOnline, by telephone on 01438 715044 or in person, following the release times.
Advance booking appointments are also available 4-6 weeks ahead, together with appointments with the phlebotomist and nurses.

Extended opening hours for GP practices in Welwyn Hatfield - Routine appointments available in the evening or at the weekend
Local Practices are working together to provide appointments at a time which is most convenient to you. Welhat extended Access Service provides appointments later in the evening or at the weekend. These appointments can be booked with the receptionist at your own GP surgery however you may not see your own GP or practice nurse and you would have to travel to Spring House Medical Centre for your appointment. When booking an appointment, you will need to give permission for your medical records to be accessed and updated.
Routine appointments are available:
Monday to Friday 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Saturday 8am - 4pm
Sunday 8am - 12pm

Please note these are NOT emergency appointments. Patients requiring emergency treatment should call Herts Urgent Care on 111.
If you need to cancel and rebook an extended access appointment please contact your Practice. When your practice is closed you can call 01707 294358 to leave a message.

New Data Protection Regulations from May 2018 (GDPR)
Under the new data protection regulations introduced from 25th May 2018, we will continue to contact patients via text messages regarding the delivery of care if they have provided consent to do so.
If practices are sending messages about recommended treatment for the management of a specific health issue, then this is defined as providing appropriate care for patients, not marketing purposes.
